Cities of Norwold

Landfall - This wretched pirate city is little more than a collection of squalid huts and taverns. Somehow, 10,000 people survive in this filthy city and another 5,000 in small farms and villages in the nearby countryside. Lernal the Lame, the half brother of the deceased King Erical, claims the title Baron and the city as his own. However, the Thieves Guild and various pirate factions are constantly fighting for true control of the city. The city itself has no fortifications and Lernal fields a small and corrupt city force for personal protection and the brutal extortion of taxes. In times of war or dire need, the local militia can muster 1,500 light infantry and 500 archers.

Oceanscend, Free city of - This heavily fortified city is fiercely independent and prepared to defend its independence. The city has a population of over 20,000 and another 20,000 in prosperous farm and small villages in the surrounding 50 miles around the city. The city population includes 3,000 Dwarves, 2,000 Halflings and 500 Sea Elves. The population is very loyal to King Yarrvik. The city claims all land within 100 miles of the city. The Army of Oceansend consists of 1,500 heavy infantry, 3,000 light infantry and 1,500 archers.

Helskir - This neutral city on the Isle of Dawn has been conquered by both Thyatis and Alphatia on multiple occassions. Now, the population of 15,000 carefully balances a fragile neutrality. The surrounding countryside has an additional 25,000 farmers and villagers. Helskir has modest city defenses and a loyal army. The army of Helskir consists of 500 heavy infantry, 1,500 light infantry, 1,000 archers and 500 medium light cavalry

Ruins of Alpha - The city was once home to over 30,000 residents and more than 60,000 farmers lived in the immediate area. Today, the once proud city lies in ruins and the surrounding area is a barren wasteland of undead hordes.
