The Tangara is currently being provisioned for the journey to Norwold. It is reported that 40 level 1 heavy horsemen, 40 medium horsemen, 200 heavy footmen and 200 archers form the Ordo troops. 860 migrants are also expected to join.
Bruto has declared that the 40 level 1 heavy horsemen will be provided manors and sworn as landed knights. The Ordo Isada has long supported the manor system and it is not surprising that Bruto is taking the tradition to Norwold.
The traditional Ordo Isada knighthood pact is for the knight to be provided initially approximately one square mile of farmland and sufficient peasants to work the land. In return, the Knight swears an oath to his lord, provides 20% of the product of the land to his lord and provides himself, his squire and a minimum of 10 additional 'troops of quality' as needed to his lord for military service. It is not uncommon for the initial land or peasant allocation to be insufficient to support the required troops. In some cases the manor fails and the Knight is disenfranchised. In other cases, the manor is provided additional resources to meet obligations.
The Iron Crusader Mythas Bulga has been awarded the fifth Norwold land-grant.
Her followers are busily preparing the ship Ishmael. The Iron Crusader's forces consist of 100 heavy horsemen, 200 heavy footmen and 100 longbowmen. The large number of heavily armored troops she has rallied for the voyage to Norwold has led to rumors that the Holy Paladin has taken a secret oath or is planning a secret crusade. 900 pious migrants are travelling in support of Bulga's endeavors.
Yantra has been busy overseeing the loading of the ship Antos in preparation for the voyage to Norwold. The Axeman has mustered a force of 100 mounted bowmen and 200 longbowmen. 500 migrants from the deep woods are among Yantra's followers. As a longtime champion of woodland peasants, Yantra is expected to attract many future migrants to his Norwold dominion.
