Unrol Thuroz - Stone Thing

Magnus the Hammer of the South, acting in his role as the Chancellor of the Stone Thing, ordered Koract Granitesoul to immediately appear before the Stone Thing after Koract's successful Norwold land grant application.

The Stone Thing convened at Hazahd Dhurr. Emissaries from Rock Temple were present. It is believed that in addition to the obvious objective of establishing an Dwarven colony in Norwold, Koract was likely given the objectives of bringing the Norwold Dwarves back to the Alphatian church and to represent the Alphatian Church itself in Norwold. Koract was seen carrying Kurg Zhana when he left the Stone Thing.

Oakfellow

While provisioning his ships for the voyage to Nowold, Rolf Varegar received an urgent message from an old Tree Ent friend named Oakfellow. The message explains that Oakfellow is in need of immediate assistance and asks Rolf Varegar to come to the grove immediately. The grove is a last bastion of Tree Ents in the region. If the grove were to fall, the decadent and sometimes evil elves from across the Greenwall river could lay claim to the forests west of the river.

Rolf Varegar mounted his Hippogriff and flew the 300 miles to the grove in a less than half a day.

At the grove, Oakfellow explained that elves from the east have crossed into the grove and killed two Tree Ents. In the process. they destroyed some of the boundary markers that protect the grove from outsiders.

Oakfellow requested that Rolf Varegar, quickly fly around the permiter of the grove and fortify the magical boundary markers. On a Hippogriff, it should take just a few days.

Upon completing the task, Oakfellow asks the ranger to eat mushrooms and sleep in his branches before returning to the colonization fleet the next day.
During the night the ranger has a dream...

Walking in a wasteland you come upon a sapling. You hear a voice inside your head say,”scout the the new land and find places of bounty.”

...you continue to walk and find yourself in the deep forest in a small clearing with a small but well kept farmhouse...the voice continues,”homestead the deep forest and prosper.”

...you continue on the path and come upon an elven village deep in the forest...the voice continues,”seek out friends and allies. Pursue the Just Cause. Defend the righteous.”

...you continue to walk until you come to a farming village being put to the torch by hill tribes. Again the voice speaks, “Put the scourge to the sword. Destroy their seed and Found the Southern Gate."

When Rolf Varegar woke in the morning, one of the branches upon which he slept was glowing. Oakfellow instructed him to break of the branch and use it to form a longbow. The branch stopped glowing when separated from Oakfellow. He explained the branch will form a longbow that will destroy enemies of the grove (specifically the hill tribes). "When the branch again glows, immediately return to the grove for we are in dire need of your aid."

The First, Second and Third Norwold Land-Grants Awarded!!!

The High Council of Alphatia has awarded the first new Norwold land-grant to the crusader Koract Granitesoul Cleric of the Deep Halls in Denwarf-Hurgon.

It is rumored that Koract has been summoned by the Dwarven High Council to discuss the fate of the Dwarfholds in Norwold.

Koract is then expected to return to Draco and ready the colonization fleet with his followers.

The High Council of Alphatia has awarded the second new Norwold land-grant to the Order of the Golden Fist.

Master of Autumn Kaga Shou is expected to lead his fellow monks to Norwold and establish a monastery.

The Master of Autumn was last seen entering the Golden Fist Monastery. He is believed to be in deep meditation that will last several days. Meanwhile the order is preparing the colonization fleet for the voyage to Norwold.

The High Council of Alphatia has awarded the third new Norwold land-grant to Rolf Varegar the famed Ranger of the Greenwall river in Haven.

Upon receiving the land-grant, the Ranger promptly melted into the wilderness and has not been seen since.

The docks and ships assigned to support Rolf Varegar's colonization of Norwold remain idle.
